Situated along Route 62 in the Klein Karoo district of Calitzdorp, lies the vineyards of Calitzdorp Cellars. The natural beauty and breathtaking landscape varies from rugged red soils to valleys and shaded kloof areas.
The variety of terroir infuse complex flavours into various cultivars, spread over 300 hectares and 40 farms. Calitzdorp Cellar was established in 1928. Sweet Muscadel and Hanepoot were flagship wines and are still firm favourites.
