DE KRANS WINES, situated in Calitzdorp in the Klein Karoo on the scenic R62, is recognized as one of the best "port"-style and Portuguese varietal wine producers in South Africa. Flagship dry wines from De Krans are the Tritonia Verdelho and Tritonia Red Calitzdorp Blend. De Krans also produces varietal wines from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz. It produces excellent wines from classic varietals, namely the Wild Ferment Chardonnay, Free Run Chenin Blanc, White, Rosé & Red Moscato Perlé, Pinotage Rosé and a Basket Press Cabernet Sauvignon, all at competitive prices.
