Pinotage Heritage Block 2017

Bright deep red to purple colour. Spicy red and black fruit aromas supported by strong bramble type characters on initial nose. Prune, plum and ripe cherry flavours follow with a backing spice and sweet vanilla. Big, full well rounded mouth with satin smooth texture that flow across the palate yet distinct but supple tannin undertone. Beautifully integrated oak flavours well expressed on nose and palate. Already showing good complexity but has lots more development to come. Great balance with classy elegance. Very attractive now but will benefit greatly from further maturation over next 5-10 years.
