As 9th generation descendants of Johannes Christiaan Rabe who originally came from Leipzig in Germany, we are passionate about the history of the farm, making bespoke blends and bottling only the finest single cultivar wines. We operate a modern cellar, where we source only the best hand-picked grapes to create our beautiful wines. By exporting some of our wines to the German market, we would like to think that we are completing a 300-year circle by sending back the fruits of Johannes Christiaan’s labour as proof that he did find a better life in South Africa.
